Amazon FBA

Amazon FNSKU label generator

Since 31 March 2026, a seller who is not the brand owner needs an FNSKU on every unit sent to Amazon. This page prints a Code 128 label with the FNSKU, the title, and the condition.

  • Avery 5160, A4, and thermal rolls
  • Start on any label of a used sheet
  • Rows, CSV, or a Seller Central file

How it works

  1. Check

Three questions tell you whether the unit needs an FNSKU. Answer them.

  2. Add your products

Type a row per product, or upload a Seller Central file. Each row is checked before you print.

  3. Print at 100%

Pick the label sheet and the first free label. Scan one before you label the batch.

Do I need FNSKU labels?

Brand owners can often ship on the manufacturer barcode. Resellers, and products without their own UPC, EAN or ISBN, need the FNSKU. Sets need their own.

Are you the brand owner in Brand Registry for this product?
Does the product have its own UPC, EAN or ISBN?

Put the FNSKU in A2, the title in B2, and a picture key in Z1.

    What is on the label

An FNSKU label: Code 128 bars, the FNSKU X00SAMPLE01, the title, and the condition New
    1. Code 128 bars The FNSKU as a barcode. This is what the warehouse scans.
    2. The FNSKU Printed under the bars, so a person can type it when a scan fails.
    3. The title A long title is shortened in the middle to fit. It helps a person match the unit to the listing.
    4. The condition New, Used, Collectible or Refurbished, as listed in Seller Central.

    Frequently asked questions

Is FNSKU the same as SKU or ASIN?

No. An FNSKU is Amazon's code for your offer in the fulfillment network. A SKU is your own stock code. An ASIN is the catalogue page. Copy the FNSKU from Seller Central.

Can I reuse one FNSKU across sellers?

No. The FNSKU belongs to one seller's offer. Another seller gets a different FNSKU for the same product.

Which label sizes can I print here?

Avery 5160 on US Letter, thermal rolls of 2 × 1 in and 2.25 × 1.25 in, and A4 sheets of 21 or 24 labels. Amazon needs the barcode to scan and the condition to be readable, so print at 100% scale.

Do I need a thermal printer?

No. A laser or inkjet printer can print the sheet templates. A thermal printer can print the roll templates.

What happens if I ship unlabeled units?

Amazon can refuse the shipment. Label every unit before you send it.

Why does my FNSKU start with B0?

Some FNSKUs are 10 characters and start with B0. Copy the value from the FNSKU field in Seller Central. An ASIN can also start with B0, and it is not a substitute for the FNSKU.
