Print FNSKU labels from a Seller Central export
Upload a file with an fnsku column, add quantity, and download a PDF of the good rows.
You print FNSKU labels from a Seller Central export by uploading the file on the label page. The file needs an FNSKU column; a title, a condition, and a quantity are optional. The page checks every row, lists the problems, and gives you a PDF of the good rows for your label sheets or thermal roll.
Seller Central reports change their column names from time to time. If your file's FNSKU column has another name than the ones below, rename it to fnsku before you upload.
How do I print labels from a file?
- Export the rows you want to label from Seller Central, as CSV or tab-separated text.
- Check that the file has an FNSKU column with one of the names in the table below.
- Add a qty column if a row needs more than one label. Leave it empty to print one.
- Leave the condition empty only for new units. Otherwise use one of the condition words Amazon uses.
- Sign in and upload the file on the label page. It accepts .csv, .txt, and .tsv.
- Read the summary: it counts labels, rows, and rows with errors. Fix the errors in the file and upload again.
- Choose the template and start position, download the PDF, and print it at 100% or Actual size.
Which column names does the upload accept?

Names match regardless of capitals and of spaces at the ends. Other columns are kept in the checked file but not printed on the label.
How do I set the quantity and the start position?
Quantity is the number of labels for a row, from 1 to 1,000. The total of all rows is the job size, and one PDF stops at 10,000 labels. A prep centre that labels more in a day splits the file. Each account can print 50,000 labels a day; checking a file does not count, only the downloaded PDF does.
The start position matters when a sheet is partly used. Avery 5160 has 30 positions and the A4 sheets have 21 or 24. Click the first empty position on the label page. A thermal roll prints one label per page, so it has no start position.
What if some rows are wrong?

A file with more than 10,000 rows, more than 100 columns, or a cell longer than 4,096 characters is refused as a whole. Otherwise one bad row never stops the others: the PDF has the good rows, and the checked CSV, with label_url, image_formula, and error columns, shows why each bad row was left out.
What should I check before printing?
Print at 100% or Actual size on matte white labels, scan one label, cover the manufacturer barcode, and label poly bags on the outside. Frequently asked questions
Which Seller Central file can I upload?
Any export or file that has an FNSKU column, as CSV or tab-separated text. If its FNSKU header is not one of the accepted names, rename that column to fnsku.
What if my file is tab-separated?
Upload it as it is. A header line with tabs and no commas is read as tab-separated.
Does one bad row cancel the PDF?
No. The PDF contains the good rows. The checked CSV lists the error for each bad row.
How many labels can one upload print?
Up to 1,000 on one row, 10,000 in one PDF, and 50,000 per account per day.
Where does the start position apply?
On a sheet template, it is the first empty position, counting from 1. A roll prints one label per page and ignores it.
