FNSKU labels in Excel and Google Sheets
Column A is the FNSKU, B is the title, C is the condition, and Z1 is the picture key.

You show an FNSKU label in Excel or Google Sheets with one IMAGE formula. Put the FNSKU in column A, the title in column B, the condition in column C, and your picture key in Z1. Each row then shows its label in the cell. The sheet does not arrange labels on Avery stock; for printing, you export a CSV and download a PDF from the label page.
Put a picture key in Z1. Create it on the Account page. Never put an All routes key in a sheet: anyone who can see the formula can copy it.
How do I show the labels?
- Sign in and create a picture key on the Account page. Paste it into Z1.
- Put headers in row 1 if you want them. The formulas start in row 2.
- Format column A as text, then paste the FNSKUs. Put titles in column B and conditions in column C.
- Put this formula in D2. It prints New on every label:
=IMAGE("https://beepable.app/l/fnsku.png?v="&ENCODEURL(A2)&"&t="&ENCODEURL(B2)&"&c=new&k="&$Z$1) - Fill the formula down, and make the rows taller until each label is readable.
- Scan one label from the screen before you trust the column.
When the condition differs per row, use this formula instead. It reads the condition from column C:
=IMAGE("https://beepable.app/l/fnsku.png?v="&ENCODEURL(A2)&"&t="&ENCODEURL(B2)&"&c="&ENCODEURL(C2)&"&k="&$Z$1)
Which columns does the sheet use?
| Cell | What you type |
|---|---|
| A2 | The FNSKU, as text. |
| B2 | The title printed under the bars. It may be empty; the label then skips that line. |
| C2 | The condition: New, Used - Like New, Used - Very Good, Used - Good, Used - Acceptable, Collectible, or Refurbished. |
| D2 | The formula. |
| Z1 | Your picture key. |
In the address, v is the FNSKU, t is the title, c is the condition, and k is the key. You can also add set=1 to print Sold as set – do not separate, and tpl to pick a template, such as tpl=avery-5160, which changes the shape of the label.
What if a cell shows a card?
| The cell shows | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| An Amazon FNSKU has 10 characters and usually starts with X00. Copy it from Seller Central. | The value in column A is not an FNSKU, or it is an ASIN. | Copy the FNSKU field from Seller Central. |
| Unknown condition. Use New, Used - Like New, Used - Very Good, Used - Good, Used - Acceptable, Collectible, or Refurbished. | Column C has a condition Amazon does not use. | Use one of the listed words. |
| This barcode needs an API key. | Z1 is empty, or the formula does not point at it. | Paste your picture key in Z1, and keep both dollar signs in $Z$1. |
| Use a picture key, not an All routes key, in image addresses. | Z1 holds an All routes key. | Put a picture key in Z1 instead. |
How do I print the sheet as labels?
- Export the rows as CSV. Use the headers fnsku, title, condition, and qty when one row needs more than one label. An empty condition means New and an empty qty means 1.
- Upload the file on the label page. It first checks every row and lists the ones with errors.
- Fix the errors, choose the template and, on a sheet, the start position.
- Download the PDF of the good rows and print it at 100% or Actual size on matte white labels.
One PDF holds up to 10,000 labels, and an account can print 50,000 a day. Split a larger catalog. The Seller Central file guide covers the upload in detail.
Frequently asked questions
Which cell holds the picture key?
Z1. The formula reads it as $Z$1, so every row uses the same key. Create a picture key on the Account page; an All routes key is refused in a picture address.
Why does the short formula say c=new?
It fits a catalog where every unit is new. If the condition changes per row, put it in column C and use the longer formula on this page.
Can the sheet print the labels by itself?
No. The formula shows one label per cell. To print on a sheet or a roll, export a CSV, upload it on the label page, and download the PDF.
What does a wrong FNSKU look like in the cell?
A card with the sentence: An Amazon FNSKU has 10 characters and usually starts with X00. Copy it from Seller Central. Filter those rows before you print.
Which key uploads the CSV?
On the label page, your sign-in is enough. A program needs an All routes key. The picture key in Z1 only belongs in the picture address.
